Noirsville Tune Of The Week

Street Scene  the music score by Alfred Newman of a 1931 Pre-Code drama film produced by Samuel Goldwyn and directed by King Vidor,   It was Newman's first complete film score and it was composed in the style of George Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue. 

The same theme was used in a series of Twentieth Century Fox Film Corp's Film Noir movies, the New York based Noir's, Cry of the City, Kiss of Death, I Wake Up Screaming, Where the Sidewalk Ends, The Dark Corner.
