A washed up boxer (Sutherland) who's latest fights are with the bottle, is haunted by the memory of the betrayal of his wife. He caught her in bed with another boxer. She left him and took off.
A few years later he gets a surprise visit from his ex wife (Amick) who wants to reconciliate and come back to him. For a short while he's riding on cloud nine until he finds out he really in Noirsville.
