Violated Angels is the Japanese retelling/imagining of the crimes of Richard Speck.

"Richard Benjamin Speck (December 6, 1941 – December 5, 1991) was an American mass murderer who systematically raped one and tortured and murdered eight student nurses from South Chicago Community Hospital on the night of July 13 into the early morning hours of July 14, 1966. He was convicted at trial and sentenced to death" ( Wikipedia)

Richard Benjamin Speck
An opening photo montage suggests that the murderer was obsessed with women, and also various depictions of women from stained glass windows to pornography.

Some student nurses in a dorm spot a stranger (Juro Kara) hanging around outside their dormitory. As a prank they pull him inside to join them in peeping on two of their dorm mates who are engaged in some lesbian tongue in groove action.

The Stranger peeping on the lesbians
The stranger isn't very amused. He pulls a revolver and shoots one of the girls. He then takes all the women hostage, raping and murdering them one by one. The stranger has hallucinations imagining  the women chiding and mocking him. This sends the stranger into explosions of anger.

Noirsville

Knowing the gist of the story you can pretty much watch it without knowing any Japanese. Montages in color and black and white hint at what's going on in the noggin of the stranger. The film shows quite a bit of style by the director Wakamatsu. The cinematography was by Hideo Itoh. It is accompanied by an equally interesting sound design of echoing laughter and the sound of wind. Its worth a watch. 6/10
