Noirsville Bonus Noir TV - Fallen Angels (1993-1995)

"There was a desert wind blowing that night. It was one of those hot dry Santa Anas that come  down through the mountain passes and curl your hair and make your nerves jump and your skin itch. On nights like that every booze party ends in a fight. Meek little wives feel the edge of the carving knife and study their husbands' necks. Anything can happen. You can even get a full glass of beer at a cocktail lounge.” (Raymond Chandler)

A man rushes into the bar looking for a woman, and is killed by another patron Al (Sadler) drinking at the bar in front of Private Eye Marlowe and Lou (Turner) the bartender. He rushes out. The cops Detective Copernik (Hedaya) and Detective Ybarra (Sandoval) arrive on their routine patrol. They get the scoop from Marlowe and Lou on what went down. He tells her about the cops and the killer and tells her she'd better hideout up in his flop. When she is able to save his life from the killer, who watched him enter the hotel with the woman, he decides to give her a hand he slips her his card. Lola tells him that she's mixed up in a blackmail scheme with her cheating husband Frank (Rifkin).

Detective Ybarra (Sandoval)

Lots of twists and turns, should have been longer as is the killer is always coincidentally and inexplicably everywhere Marlowe goes. Looks nice however. 6/10
