Booker T. and the MG's was an instrumental R&B/funk band. The original members of the group were Booker T. Jones (organ, piano), Steve Cropper (guitar), Lewie Steinberg (bass), and Al Jackson, Jr. (drums). Their 1962 tune Green Onions was one of the staples of GoGo bars.
