The time period is early 1960s and it reminds me a lot of the Transitional Noirs (1960-69) Enjoy.

Noirsville Clip of the Week

Fallen Angels / Perfect Crimes was a Noir Anthology TV Series that ran on Showtime between 1993–1996 in two seasons Season 1 was called Fallen Angels - Season 2 was titled Perfect Crimes each 30m. Each show began with the exterior of Union Station, Los Angeles, and then went into a very stylistic montage. The one below was from one of the Perfect Crime episodes. I may be wrong but I think I remember reading that season one was shot in Academy ratio, just at the switch to Widescreen so the one year delay was to make the Season two a widescreen program.
