It's Noirsville, a visually oriented blog celebrating the vast and varied sources of inspiration, all of the resulting output, and all of the creative reflections back, of a particular style/tool of film making used in certain film/plot sequences or for a films entirety that conveyed claustrophobia, alienation, obsession, and events spiraling out of control, that came to fruition in the roughly the period of the last two and a half decades of B&W film.
Marvelous work. I was looking at the unbelievable artwork of Juan Gimenez earlier today, and although I have zero interest in his collaboration with Jodorowsky, The Metabarons, as reading material, the illustrations are insanely great. (I just can't look at angry teeth baring faces on every page) Anyway, some of the illustations here have a bit of his touch. Thanks for a great upload, and looking forward to your other pages. Thanks I was hampered by a laptop crash 1st of December and had a bunch of images on the old drive keyed up to post. Up and running with a new laptop but at a slightly diminished output. I also need to download Corel, and Adobe on the new machine.
