Lovelace (2013) Porno Chic Noir

Directed by Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman, written by Andy Bellin.

The film stars Amanda Seyfried as Linda, Peter Sarsgaard as Chuck, Sharon Stone as Dorothy Boreman, Robert Patrick as John Boreman, Juno Temple as Ashley, Chris Noth as Anthony Romano, Bobby Cannavale as Butchie Peraino, Hank Azaria as Gerry Damiano, Adam Brody as Harry Reems, ChloĆ« Sevigny as a Feminist Journalist, James Franco as Hugh Hefner, Debi Mazar as Dolly, Wes Bentley as Photographer, Eric Roberts as Nat Laurendi, and Ron Pritchard as Sammy Davis Jr.

A movie projector alights The Best of a Bad situation plays, We are in a theater. It's the re-created opening sequence to notorious Porno Chic film Deep Throat. The title appears "Lovelace." We see our star Amanda Seyfried playing Linda (Lovelace) Boreman. She' driving into Miami. We pull back, see the theater seats filled. Applause. A voice over "Ladies and Gentlemen the moment we've all been waiting for the one the only Linda Lovelace."

Superimposed: Based on a true story.

Cut to Linda in a bubble bath, then we here the sound of an interview. Walter Cronkite tells us that Deep Throat was the most popular "blue movie of all time." Johnny Carson jokes about the film on The Tonight Show.

Another off screen interviewer asks Linda "How does it feel to be the poster child for the sexual revolution?"

This Porno Chic Era stretched from Andy Warhol's kickoff art film entitled Fuck (1969) but changed to the more advertiseable title of Blue Movie. Written, filmed, and directed by Andy Warhol and starring Viva, and Louis Waldon. I've never seen it but here is a short blurb.

"Producer/director/cinematographer Andy Warhol presents an afternoon in a Manhattan apartment where Viva and Louis discuss social issues while lying in bed. Louis makes sexual advances and Viva giggles; they indulge in sexual foreplay and then intercourse. They talk about the Vietnam War, watch television, get dressed, eat, discuss Louis's unhappy marriage, and finally take a shower, more and more aware of the presence of a camera. After more sex play in and out of the shower, Viva stares at the camera and asks, "Is it on?"" Written by alfiehitchie (IMDb)

Runtime for Blue Movie was 105 min, it was shot in the old Academy 1.37:1 ratioand was in color.

It was during this era that Porno went mainstream with Deep Throat kicking it all off. The film was joked about on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, the Watergate Conspiracy had a "stoolie" called "Deep Throat." Other high production value films followed.

I caught Deep Throat with a girlfriend when it  actually hit Missoula, Montana in 1973-4 at an adult theater on Front Street.

The Porno Chic Era only ended when VHS video tape became wildly available. Grindhouse theaters went slowly out of business and producers and directors just shot straight to video. Porn just morphed into other media and eventually into the do it yourself internet cottage industry it is today.

We find out that it's Gerard Damiano's (billed under his alias Jerry Gerard) sixth film. We reviewed Damiano's very first Exploitation/Sexploitation/Drugsploitation Transitional Noir. and only Black & White film We All Go Down in Noirsville not long ago.  It's got some interesting and bizarre sequences, Noirish B&W cinematography but still a pretty amateurish production on the whole, but it's right on the cusp of X-rated.

From Linda we go in flashback to Davie. Florida 1970. Now here we must mention that there are quite a few omissions and the story is told in a way that emphasizes the cautionary/moral lesson that screenwriter Andy Bellin wants to make. So we'll fill in the blanks so that you get Linda's full story.

Reality...

The Bronx late 1940s
Linda' story begins in The Bronx, New York City. She was born in 1949 into the family of John Boreman (Robert Patrick), a NYPD officer who liked to drink and his wife Dorothy (Sharon Stone), a tough abusive hash house waitress who domineered and beat her. Her father would stumble home drunk and get into knock down drag-out fights with her mother. Linda remembered one fight where her mother pulled a butcher knife on Daddy.

The Boerman's were "devout" Catholics. I was born into the same situation, though our branch of Catholicism was far from devout, they were more laid back, my father was born in the old country where thousands of  years of ridiculous religious wars tempered the zealotry of a lot of people. Oh I went to Catholic School with Dominican Nuns, and we went to mass on Sundays, but that was about it. Our neighbors were all "paisani" on my mothers side of the family from Parma, with all similar attitudes. They came over just before WWI. Their first born children were children of the depression, and they fought in WWII. The veteran's children were children of the 50's, rock and rollers who worked on hot rods and didn't speak much Italian, but, like me understood the basic verbs but lacked in many of the descriptive nouns.

Linda also went to Catholic parochial school Saint John the Baptist and followed by Maria Regina High School an all girls school. Linda's mom must have been pretty strict and Linda was very obedient. Linda got the reputation for being very chaste on her dates when she was allowed any. She must not have been very much fun. They called her "Miss Holy-Holy." When Linda was 16 her father retired from the NYPD and moved the family to Davie, Florida.

There, Linda began to go a little wild. Maybe if her mother had educated her a little about safe sex she wouldn't have gotten pregnant at 18, and giving birth at 19. Her mother talked her into giving the child up for adoption. Linda was sent back to NYC to avoid talk, to go to a computer school and she  probably stayed with relatives. Not long after moving back to NYC she was involved in a car accident that gave her a lacerated liver and a broken jaw. She had to move back to Davie and recover at her parents home.

Fantasy....

So the film leaves all the above early years out and the tub flashback starts when she is back in Florida with her parents. The film shows us a seemingly well adjusted girl hanging out with her best friend Ashley (Juno Temple).  We see them sunbathing in Linda's backyard. Her friend is the more adventurous of the two removing her bikini top and cajoling Linda to do the same. They talk about sex. Of course Linda's mother happens on the scene and goes ballistic.

Juno Temple as Ashley

Sharon Stone as Dorothy Boreman
Cut to the Moonlight Rollerway roller rink. Linda and Ashley are having a good time skating to a live band. When they are returning their skates to the owner/manager, Ashley tells him that the band is missing GoGo girls. he asks if they want to volunteer and the next time we see the girls as GoGo dancers. Its while Linda is GoGo dancing with Ashley that she is scoped on by grade a sleazeball Chuck Traynor.

Peter Sarsgaard as Chuck
Waiting until after the show Traynor leaning up against his 1966 Mustang convertible comments to the girls as they are walking out of the rink. "Did you girls ever think of doing it professionally?" They laugh/giggle. Chuck tells them that girls in Vegas make two or three hundred bucks a night.

Then Chuckie asks them if they smoke grass while he pulls out a joint. Ashley of course ponces on it while Linda is reserved.  The next sequence has Linda heading off to a beach party.

Chuck and Ashley are at the party.  Chuckie drives Linda home, Linda who has been basically acting virginal this whole time confesses to Chuck that's shes had a baby. Again this may be the director's way of showing Linda being shy about relationships, it's part of the films agenda/message. Sleazy Chuck now changes his whole game plan. She's a soiled dove. Her folks will probably give their blessings to the first acceptable chump that wants to take Linda off their hands. Chuck tells Linda that he want's to meet her parents.

Chuck the con man bets Linda that by the end of the night her parents will tell her what a nice man Chuck is. If he wins she stays the night with him. Ah the imagination of Hollywood screenwriters.

Robert Patrick as John Boreman
So Chuck in sport coat and tie goes through with the dinner, saying grace, making the sign of the cross, being polite, bullshitting everyone, etc., etc. Linda's folks head to the living room to watch TV, while Chuck's helping Linda with the dishes in the kitchen he's also helping himself to some muff diving.

He's got Linda up on the counter spreadeagled for easy access. Instead of going to the movie that Linda tells her parents she's going to they go to Chuck's place and have sex. A nice visual touch is Chucks Teac reel to reel tape deck, it was a key archetype of a serious 70s bachelor pad.

Here again Linda is acting schizoid, she just had cunnilingus to climax in her Mom's kitchen counter and at Chucks she's shy again. As they start to "get it on," Chuckie pulls out a  camera and snaps a photo.

Coming home late her mom slaps her in the face. The situation at home deteriorates and Linda is moving out and her mom is carrying the suitcases.

Linda [narrating]: I had the misfortune of meeting Chuck Traynor, but it didn't start out like you're describing. He was a gentleman when I first met him. He was always opening doors for me and lighting my cigarettes and he was very charming when he wanted to be... and I was young, you know, I was twenty-one when I went to live with him... and it wasn't until after that, that things just started to change. He started talking about different sexual things, things that I had never heard of before, things that I - I couldn't imagine, you know? I didn't want to. I was raised... I was raised to obey my husband, to please him for better or for worse... so that's what I did.

We cut to a wild party, Ashley, Chuck and Linda are in attendance, booze, joints, and porno loops playing on projector screen. When Chuck asks Ashley if she did it she says yes. Chuck tries to kiss her, telling Ashley that Linda won't mind. Ashley runs off. Ashley warns Linda not to go in the room with the loops, but she goes anyway, and here we see the first change in Linda she's not the shy one any longer. Chuck and Linda all smiles watch the group grope cluster fuck going on on the screen.

Later that night Chuck talks Linda into performing oral sex on him by telling her that the reason she doesn't is because she feels she's no good at it. She's afraid she'll choke. Chuck tells her that he can help her with it the same way he got her to quit smoking, by mind control/hypnotism.

Chuckie coaching deep throat

Success!

Reality...

The real story from Linda'd first book Inside Linda Lovelace goes like this. Chuckie Traynor was a scumbag from the get go. It's the same ol' same ol' tale of how the not so good girl is attracted to the bad boy.

Linda tells us that she was sunbathing out on the front lawn of her folks place in her bikini, and possibly with her top off as depicted in the film. She was alone, no friend named Ashley, (for all I know Ashley could very well be fictional altogether). So laying out there exposed, in more ways than one, to the street she catches the eye of bad boy Chuckie Traynor a Ft. Lauderdale area bar owner, drug dealer, and pimp who was driving by in his pussy magnet Jaguar (not a Mustang as depicted in the film).

Chuck Traynor the "Svengali/guru of  deep throat.

It worked. Chuckie hits the hooks. Gets out and makes small talk. He offers her a joint and a ride in the Jag. It was lust at first sight. Chuckie got a ride for a ride. The two become an item.

Linda Boreman and Chuck Traynor
A couple of weeks later she ditches mom and dad and moves into Chukies bachelor pad. Linda tells us that she knew nothing then of kinky sex. I guess she was a strictly missionary position gal.

Chuckie taught her all the various ins and outs. He used hypnosis to get her past her gagging reflex so that she could perform "deep throat" fellatio. Being a manipulative pimp Chuckie was naturally grooming Linda to be a hooker. He started pimping Linda out at the club he owned.

The Fantasy...

The film segues from the first deep throat session to what looks like 8mm home movies of Linda and Chuckie frolicking on the beach to "Spirit in the Sky" on the soundtrack.

married
They get married. Six month's later, happy housewife Linda is vacuuming the pad when she gets a call from Chuck. He's in jail and needs a bail out. The next scene is Linda and Chuckie sitting at a lunch counter. Chuckie pounds the counter loudly.

confessions

Linda in a ridiculous cliche of a clueless wife, asks Chuck that "I've never asked about his work...." Oh really. Chuck tells her that a couple of the girls at the club got busted turning tricks out back of the place. Chuckie adds not to worry, the police wont ask her any questions because a wife can't testify against her husband. That's just the tip of the iceberg, Chuck needs money and Linda asks him what are they going to do? We segue to New York City....

The Reality....

Apparently Linda is so good at what she does that Chuck gets the bright idea that he'll leave the chump change world of Florida for the big time New York City. Chuckie has got this brain fart to sell Linda's fellatio skills as a service to notorious Madam and hooker Xaviera Hollander. They make it as far as New Jersey across the river from Manhattan. Hollander, probably not impressed with whatever skim Chuckie wanted to rake off the top turns him down. Forgedabouddit!

Xaviera Hollander
Chuckies next idea was to try and sell some demo 8mm loops of Linda doing her specialty. Chuckie with a slew of dirty pictures and some demo films of him and Linda makes the rounds of the sleazy New York adult shops and peep shows along "The Deuce" and Times Square. He eventually meets up with Bob Wolfe, a well known producer of 8mm stag loops.

Chuck and Linda's porn loop
Chuckie pimps Linda's talents to him, shows him his amateur demo, and they all start working together. The "studio" was some dump basement studio on 14th Street. The first loop starred Linda and Bob Everett.

Larry Revene ((Bob Wolfe’s assistant)) "A number of people who we used in the loops went on to become famous in the industry, but they were nobodies when they came to us. When Linda Lovelace worked here, she was just another actress… She was a total unknown then."

Eric Edwards (loop actor) "I shot some of my first loops in Bob Wolfe’s downstairs flat in New York, and some of them were with Linda Lovelace. Basically the set-up was Bob Wolfe, Linda, another girl, and her husband at the time, Chuck Traynor. So, we did our scene, it took about an hour or so… and worked out fine. I got forty bucks, she got fifty. I never could understand why the girls got more because I had to do most of the work! But I didn’t care, it was fun. I got a call from Linda after that and, contrary to her book, she would say, “Do you wanna do another job? She was always keen to work. I would say, “Okay fine, it helps pay the rent.” I was a starving actor at the time."

Linda Boreman and Eric Edwards
Linda Lovelace (loop actress, from ‘Ordeal’ (1980), by Linda Lovelace and Mike McGrady) " Our destination that morning was a studio down in the East Village. A large room… the usual clutter… the double bed… the movie lights… the cameras… the director, Robert Wolfe – fat and greasy and black-haired. I looked at the three men. And then I noticed that on the small table directly in front of them there was a gun, a revolver. This was a gun I had never seen before, and I assumed that it belonged to Wolfe or his assistant. Now are you sure that you don’t want to make this movie?’ Wolfe said."

Eric Edwards "I saw it all. There were no guns or anything like that to force her into this. I think she actually had a good time. It was a rather strange time of exploration."

(from The Rialto Report - Ghosts of New York Adult Film: Bob Wolfe’s 14th St Studio)

They made five loops with Wolfe one entitled Sex for Sale (1971). Those that have seen these loops claim that "The loops they shot are pretty impressive, and its very clear to see Linda’s appeal. Not overly stunning but naturally pretty in a girl-next-door way, Linda has charm and, more importantly, is really up for it. You can tell in her face and the way she moves that she’s enjoying what she’s doing and the girl really does have talent. after watching a few of them, it seems hardly surprising that Deep Throat happened when it did. If the film was never made, I think Linda would have eventually become famous anyway from escalating projects off the success of the loops." (Miss Meyer)  All the above described is in stark contrast to "Chuck made me do it at gunpoint story' told by Linda in Ordeal.

Director Gerard Damiano acting in We All Go Down (1969)
Another loop was shot by Gerard Damiano who later directed Linda in Deep Throat. Two other loops were supposedly shot by Chuckie. Regardless, these loops started out as basic male - female hardcore, the usual lesbian scenes and threesomes. More money, however was to be had with outrĆ© fetish material. This includes some wacky footage of foot sex called The Foot aka Open Pussy Insert Foot, another of golden showers titled Piss Orgy, and a couple of now infamously notorious loops of bestiality. These loops had Linda doing a large Shepard type mutt. Initially titled D1 and D2, but later re-titled Dog Fucker and Dog-A-Rama. (Google them if in denial or curious. ;- ))

A still frame from Linda's porn loop The Foot.

Originally Linda (quite understandably) denied ever making the bestiality loops but she had to change her tune when Screw Magazine publisher Al Goldstein obtained a print and published screen frames in Screw after the success of Deep Throat. In Ordeal Linda claims that Chuck held a gun to her head forcing her to have sex with their pet dog, and also BTW forcing her to do everything else she'd ever done (what else do you expect her to say?).

However one intrepid "investigator" of the whole sordid business has other opinions. "She claimed to have been coerced into making this movie and denied it's existence. When this rare movie was brought to light, Linda finally admitted her participation but said her ex-husband forced her at gun point to star in the movie. As part of my viewing of the movie, we tried to answer that point and one good observation was made. She knew what she was doing and so did the dog. It wasn't the first time for either. And I think that was a major facet of this movie, maybe not intentionally so, but when someone heard about the movie it was natural to first wonder, does she really do it? And then if one sees it, then wonder turns towards does she like it? And that's the thing about this particular movie. If she's coerced, she is one of the best actors or actresses that has ever lived. She does not hold back seems very enthusiastic in what she does. She just doesn't seem reserved in anyway like you would expect someone who has a gun against their head would act. And if it was anywhere near the first time she ever committed such an act with a dog, it wasn't clumsy at all for either of them and that's odd. At least that's how it came off to me." (IMDb baertooth 21 January 2011)"

Lovelace completely and conveniently exorcises Traynor's  Xaviera Hollander hooker/call girl idea, and Linda's kinky stag loop porn history from the story.

The Fantasy...

The film zooms in on the B&A Film office in Manhattan.

Hank Azaria as Gerry Damiano, Bobby Cannavale as  Butchie Peraino, and Chuckie

We see Linda, dressed like a hooker,  dramatically reciting "Mary had a little lamb" to Gerald "Gerry" Damiano (Hank Azaria) and Butchie Peraino (Bobby Cannavale) and Chuckie in an office. It's a casting call interview. When Linda is finished they send her off to the corner diner to get get coffee.

"You see that, that is art baby!"
As soon as she's out the door they ask Chuckie if she knows what she's casting for?  Chuckie tells them that she's "new" at this professionally. (Remember in reality she's already done stag loops (one with Damiano no less) and doggie porn. lol) When Chuckie shows them his home made "movie" the two goombahs are dumbstruck. The usual Italian tough guy shtick "Ooooh! Madone! Can she do that with a big cock?  "

Damiano: You see that, that is art baby!

Segue to South Florida. A dive motel twelve day shoot. Linda, Chuckie, Gerry, Butchie, and money man Anthony Romano (Chris Noth) begin filming Deep Throat. Linda's co stars are Dolly (Debi Mazar) and Harry Reems (Adam Brody). Chuckie's control freak tendency is finally addressed in a sequence where he chastises Dolly for covering up Linda's freckles with makeup. Dolly also suggests that she should cover up the back and blue bruises on Linda's legs. Later more violent abuse is hinted at during the wrap party when we hear loud noises coming from Linda and Chucks motel room.

When the actual shooting starts Romano notices Chuckie becoming a bit of a nuisance. Romano arranges with Butchie to have Chuckie go to Miami to pick up more film on the day they shoot the sex scenes with Linda. The big sex scene goes down with the crew amazed.

Adam Brody as Harry Reems

Romano [to Damiano]:We're all gonna win Oscars..

The Reality....

After directing Linda in a porn loop, Damiano realized what he had and wrote the script for Deep Throat.

Harry Reems and Linda (Lovelace) Boreman

Deep Throat
So for a budget of roughly $25,000 Deep Throat makes it back and more the first week and ends up grossing $45,000,000+ box office. It's also estimated that if you add in VHS sales and other media the total comes to a ridiculous $600,000.

Premier at The World Theater at 153 W. 49th Street

The film becomes a genuine phenomena kicking Porno Chic into the main stream, the film even got a review in the New York Times. Linda is now a celebrity, she attends parties at the Playboy mansion, is talked about on late nigh television, interviewed by reporters, writes two books Inside Linda Lovelace and The Intimate Diary Of Linda Lovelace, etc., etc.

During these Playboy parties she sexually pleasures both Hugh Hefner and Sammy Davis Jr.
She poses nude for Playboy, Bachelor, and Esquire between 1973 and 1974.

Playboy
Deep Throat proved so popular that it played multi times daily for ten years at the Pussycat Theater chain. Linda even left impressions of her hand and footprints in the concrete in front of the Hollywood Pussycat.

The Fantasy...

After the success of Deep Throat, Chuckie now ratchets up his control freak nature, showing a lot of the incidents with Linda that were actually going on from the very beginning of their relationship. The film depicts a sequence where Linda actually goes home to mother. She asks if she can stay, but mom tells her to be a good wife and obey her husband.

Chuckie pimping out Linda

pimped
Chuckie tries to force Linda to make another porn flick. She refused, so Chuckie sells her to five guys for a gang bang.

Back at their home Chuckie sleeps on top of Linda to keep her from trying to escape. Linda secretly tells Romano that she wants out of the biz. Romano and his goombahs whip Chuckie's ass.

The film then conveniently skips the next five tears and picks up when she's out of the porn biz and married to Larry Marchiano. She lives on Long Island and has a son. She becomes the poster girl for the new feminist Woman Against Pornography movement, re discovers "God" and writes her book Ordeal.

the reformed Linda

In Ordeal she claims that abusive Chuckie forced her to do it all with a gun at her head. What do you expect her to say if she is trying to regain any respectability? Much like backsliding born again Christians always claim that that were weak and the devil made them do it. They repent their evil ways and get a new Get Out Of Hell card.

She goes on a book promotion tour even appearing on Donahue. Finally we see her reconciling with her parents at the end of the film.

Reality...

People present on the Deep Throat set claim that Linda wasn't coerced, though they (and co star Harry Reems) do acknowledge that Chuck was quite a control freak. Before Linda came out with her second memoir Ordeal, Linda claimed that she enjoyed making Deep Throat. In Inside Linda Lovelace she says that she was a sex addict.

In December 1973, Linda appeared on the stage starring in Pajama Tops at the Locust Theater in Philadelphia in was a bust. In 1974, Linda starred in Deep Throat II. In 1975 Linda finally leaves Chuckie and shacks up for a while with David Winters, the producer of her 1976 film Linda Lovelace for President which co starred Monkey Micky Dolenz.

By the mid 1970s, Linda became a habitual marijuana user and also was addicted to pain killers. She published the two "pro porn" autobiographies Inside Linda Lovelace and The Intimate Diary of Linda Lovelace.

Also in 1976, she was chosen to play the title role in the erotic movie Forever Emmanuelle (AKA Laure). but was canned when Linda appeared on the set pretty fucked up on drugs. Contributing to the decision was Linda's disconcerting declaration that "God had changed [her] life", and she refused to do any nudity. She was so strung out that she even objected to the exposed breasts on a statue of the Venus de Milo.

Linda used to be fucked up on sex now she was fucked up on God and drugs.

Larry and Linda (Boreman ) Marchiano
Linda splits with Winters and marries Larry Marchiano (also in '76), originally a cable TV installer during the post 1972 deregulation boom, who later owned a drywall business. They had two kids Dominic and Lindsay. They lived in Center Moriches, Long Island. The marriage and kids brought Linda some stability. But in 1990, Marchiano's business went tits-up and the family moved to Colorado.

In the book The Other Hollywood, Linda complained that Marchiano was a drunk, that he verbally abused her and the children, and occasionally smacked her around. They divorced, in 1996.

In divorce proceedings from Chuckie's statements and in Ordeal..... "Lovelace's accusations provoked mixed responses. Skeptics included Traynor, who admitted to striking Lovelace but said it was part of a voluntary sex game. In Legs McNeil's and Jennifer Osborne's 2005 book The Other Hollywood, several witnesses, including Deep Throat director Gerard Damiano, state that Traynor beat Boreman behind closed doors, but they also question her credibility. Eric Edwards, Boreman's co-star in the dog sex films and other loops that featured her urinating on her sex partners, similarly discounts her credibility. According to Edwards, Boreman was a sexual "super freak" who had no boundaries and was a pathological liar. Adult-film actress Gloria Leonard was quoted as saying, "This was a woman who never took responsibility for her own [...] choices made; but instead blamed everything that happened to her in her life on porn." Corroboration for Lovelace's claims came from Andrea True, Lovelace's co-star in Deep Throat 2, who, on a commentary DVD track of the documentary Inside Deep Throat, stated that Traynor was a sadist and was disliked by the Deep Throat 2 cast. Andrea Dworkin stated that the results of polygraph tests administered to Boreman support her assertions...."

(However its also quite feasible that, given Linda's past history, she  could have again used hypnotherapy to thwart the test.)

"Moreover, psychiatrist Judith Lewis Herman notes that many details in Lovelace's memoir Ordeal are consistent with a diagnosis of Complex PTSD, such as Lovelace's description of a fragmented personality in the aftermath of alleged abuse. Because of the circumstances of her upbringing, however, it had ceased to be clear whether the abuse came from Traynor or from Boreman's parents." (Wiki)

Eventually Linda even turned on the anti-porn movement also. She felt they used her fame but never helped her out with money. Linda is quoted as saying "They mention my name and all that but financially they've never helped me out. But I know they made a few bucks out of me just like everybody else."

Linda to the end played both ends against the middle, she did a cheesecake pictorial wearing lingerie in Leg Show Magazine and she'd happily sign Deep Throat posters as well as copies of Ordeal.

Linda died as the result of a car accident in 2002.

Take Lovelace with a grain of salt, it's definitely got an agenda, leaving out important key facts and rearranging others. The actors were all very good regardless, while the music by Stephen Trask and cinematography by Eric Alan Edwards great. 6/10

Linda stated that her entire porn career consisted of seventeen days, this of course was broken up over the course of a roughly three year period of time.
