A moment of time in Times Square 1978 - captured by Bruce Gliden

Blondie - Times Square Stories. 

That magic moment.

She was caught in the flash of a street photographer. 

A blonde in a sleeveless top and capri pants. She is looking deep into our eyes with lip sticked lips, arm bracelets, rings on her fingers and probably coke up her nose.  

The windows are down. She holds a tar bar over the sill. She's sitting next to the driver,  "John."  All we see of him is his hairy arms sticking out of his short sleaved shirt. He wears arm bracelets.  His left hand is on the steering wheel, his right with a pinky ring is massaging the inside of Blondie's knee. 

She's on her way to a dinner date,  on a side street over by 10th Ave., for an Italian sausage and pepper sandwich, only there ain't no bread, no peppers either, only Johnny-boys Italian sausage...
