Neo Noir Image Of The Week

Another view of 7th Street...
Hudson, New York, was one of the last locations for Classic
Film Noir, it filled in as the town of Melton, New York, in
ODDS AGAINST TOMORROW (1959). The bank heist and
the finale took place here. The corner with the stop light (below)
is Warren Street. It is this street that Harry Belafonte crosses in
the film, and the tracks are where in another shot  later in the film
a train pulls through town. The town was also used for a location
in the Paul Newman film NOBODY'S FOOL (1994)
